SOUVENIR by Therese Fowler

Today is Therese's US release of Souvenir. Isn't it a beauty?

That cover alone would tempt me to buy it. Then there's the fact that I "know" Therese from this lovely blogging world. You'll never find a sweeter, more gracious writer than Therese. She has spent countless hours sharing her knowledge and documenting her journey so that others might learn and grow in their own creative endeavors. For this I know I am not alone in my gratitude.


I will be heading out to the bookstore to purchase my copy of Souvenir today. I've read the novel already. I was lucky to receive a copy of the UK version in a contest Therese ran last year. But this cover...I must own this one as well.


I read Souvenir the first time because it was written by Therese. I will read it this time because it is a wonderful novel. Many will review its plot, so I will leave that for them. I will simply say that it made me cry. It made me smile. It reached inside and grabbed me so that when I read the last word, I savored it...and celebrated it. I may have even hugged the book.


Souvenir manages to be so many things, to accomplish so much. I'm looking forward to enjoying it again.


Therese has a way with words that is truly breathtaking. Read it. You'll see.
