Truly. I am overwhelmed by all the kind and encouraging things you all said in your comments. I tend to be kind of a hermit, and none of the people I know in real life have any of the same interests as me (writing to be specific). So having a group of like-minded friends here has proven a life saver for me. You all understand. You get me. It's an awesome feeling. I thank you. You guys are the best!
I have been doing my best to get around to all your blogs. If I haven't been there lately, I'm coming!
So for today, I'm not going to stress. I'm going to clean a little, play a little, rest a little, and then I'm going to take that lovely stack of paper and mark it green. I can't wait!

Good for you!! And I agree with you 1000% (that is not a typo) about the community we are part of. It's awesome!
Truer words never spoken. I, too, am often kept inside chasing around kids, cleaning, etc.. :0) So it's very nice to have a community of writers that are so supportive.
This community does rock!
Have fun storming the castle with your green pen!
(since I don't even have a MS yet, I'm a little envious, but it'll pass). :D
I agree with you so much, I wonder if all writer's feel like this. And I'm new to this and am still meeting people, but it's amazing that even though we are scattered all over our thoughts are so similar. Good luck with the green!
I agree with you!!! The writing community, the blogging community is so open and welcome, so loving!!! It's awesome to get so much support from so many writers just like you! It's inspiring!!!
Have fun dabbling in a little bit of everything!!!
I agree with the whole support thing here. None of my friends have the same interest either but getting to know all my fellower writers via the blog has been a wonderful experience.
Go mark some papers :)
Go green, Anissa!
Ditto on the writer's community - I tend to be the Court Jester of most friend circles, so they take little of what I say seriously. If I said, "I'm writing a book!" they'd laugh and say, "oh, Julie, you're so funny!" so it's good to see other writers out there trying to take themselves and their work seriously too, even if it's sometimes hard to show it to the world at large.
I tend to use looking at everything online as an excuse NOT to work, and I need to start focusing on my own work more and fawning over others' work less. At least until I have a lovely pic of a huge manuscript with green pens on it to post. Ms. Procrastination here!
Yes, I know EXACTLY how you feel! I guess that's why I spend way too much time online - I crave being around people who are like me.
Have a great weekend:)
Actually, we might be the ones in awe of you, Anissa. Your blog is one of the best! (I know you probably receive awards all the time, but I posted one for you this morning.)
I so agree with you! I love having all of my bloggy friends to talk to and vent to, because I know they understand exactly what I'm going through. :) Have a great weekend!
I love this community! It makes me feel less insane, which is always nice :)
Enjoy your stress-free day!
That sounds fabulous. Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my blog. I'm looking forward to getting to know you too!
Glad to have found your blog :)
The writing community online is truly awesome - so friendly, supportive & helpful!
I definitely agree with you about this community. I just started blogging about writing at the beginning of January and I feel like I've found a home with MY KIND that I have never found anywhere else. I love you guys!
Having a little community of writers online is my saving grace right now. Otherwise I'd be going stark raving mad!
Good luck with the green!
Anissa--I got an award this morning out of the blue so I'm passing it on.
Tag, you're it!
Aw, the feeling is mutual :)
I'm so glad you're feeling better! Rock on!
Woohoo for editing! Have fun. :-)
Hello from a fellow hermit. (I'm waving my claw from my shell.)
