Okay, back to our regularly scheduled blogging.

For some reason yesterday's rain made me think of this song by The Weather Girls.

And that made me remember the time hubby and I were in Spain. He was teaching a course for his company and the students came from all over the world. Anyway, we went out with them to a disco one night and at some point this song came on. Before we knew it, everyone in the room (95% men) was jumping up and down. And when the chorus came on...oh man! It was like international glee club. All these crazy accents mingled together in screaming harmony. "It's raining men!" I mean it was all out sing-a-long loud so that you could barely hear the music over the "Hallelujahs!" OMG. I was laughing so hard. It was freaking fantastic! Then hubby looks over at me and says, "Do you think they even know what they're singing?" I almost peed my pants. One look and it was clear they did not. But they were happy. They were singing. Imagine it. For one night in Spain, it was raining men. Thinking about it still makes me laugh!

Have a lovely day.

COngrats on the new followers! Love it is raining men in Spain. When my hubby and I were in Germany we went to a fish market at 7am, there was a band there singing "Country Road take me Home". The audience did not know what they were singing. It was obvious and they had been there all night still holding up their biersteins. They were enjoying every minute of it and we did too. Sorry if this did not make sense--still too early for me. :)Had to share.

hilarious to think of them singing that song. Great contest. Can't believe you're giving away so much money. You may start to hope you don't get anymore followers.
