Short Saturday Post

Weekends are tough. Here it is already 2:30 and it just occurred to me I hadn't posted. But...I just got back from Barnes and Noble. Thing 1 had earned a lunch out for good behavior, so we headed to Tommy Bahamas after Thing 2's soccer game. Then it was on to the bookstore. My boys are just like me, in love with books.

I'd say we enjoyed a good hour soaking up the bookish atmosphere before heading home (with several in tow). All in all, a good day.

Now, since I seem to be almost recovered from the week-long virus, it's time for some yard work. I know a lot of you are buried in snow right about now, so I won't say what our weather is like. All I'll say is that come July you can all laugh in my face.

Hope you all are having a fantastic Saturday. See you tomorrow.

OOOOOH, booooooks. :) I just got six in the mail from B&N and Amazon, so I'm pretty happy about new books, too! :)

Yep, we are among the buried, lol... but everyone is out and about again. It's crazy to see the snow piled as tall as me in places because eventually you run out of places to put it. But everything that was shoveled or plowed or salted is actually back to dry road/pavement/sidewalk. This was a pretty big one even for us, but they keep the response stuff in the town budgets because you never know how much we will get. Now I'm hearing it's supposed to snow again next week! Egads.

My kids and I love to go to Barnes and Noble together. It is, by far, our favorite rainy day outing -- actually...the weather doesn't matter. If I ask, "Who wants to go to Barnes--" they're in the car and buckling up before I can say, "--and Noble."

Glad to hear you're feeling better! Happy Valentine's Day:))

I love books, and when I have children I hope they love books too!

I am not covered in snow, and though it was cold today it was still nicer than most. I am also with you... in July they will all be laughing in my face as well!!!

Oh, that's so great that they love bookstores. My daughter loves them. My son... not so much.
