Today I reopened the WIP and cracked the whip. Ha! I crack myself up sometimes. You may all laugh at me now...

OK! Seriously, I've been a slacker. Postless. Without topic. But then I realized...when's that ever stopped me before? Fo-shizzle (I have SO always wanted to use that word, but well, in real life it never comes out).
So I'm declaring that I'm back. My posts may not always be about writing (as if they ever were), but they'll be about something. Hopefully.
Chapter 1 currently lives in the dog house. The words just won't find their way to the page. But chapter 2, oh beautiful thing that it is (someday), is cooperating nicely. At least the first three paragraphs. Cara's finding her voice.
So I'm heading back to it. I can only hope that by the time I get through to the end chapter 1 will have decided to bend itself into the fluid scene I know it can be. If I can only find the words.

I really need to figure out the whole Twitter thing. I have an account, but never took the time to learn how to use it. Don't look me up just yet because I'm changing my user name and all that. I'll follow you when I get it figured out. Oh, and we've all been slackers with blogging lately.
Yeah... I think the beginning of summer slows us all down in blogland a bit. I think I have the juice to get back to it, though... glad to see you are back, too! And rock on wit your bad revisions! Fo-shizzle! I went the other route and up and started a whole new WiP! Oh dear. :) Don't worry, the day will come when that beginning just hits you in the head and you will wonder what the heck it was waiting for.

Oh yes the seaon is over, but some major upsets, but then the there is no fun if the predictable happened. And that brings us to the true hero of the season - the octopuss.
